On July 23, 2009 an article about me was featured in the Chanhassen Villager newspaper and it also ran in the Chaska Herald newspaper on July 28.

Believe it or not, there are TWO YouTube videos out there about me and my farmers market, not too bad for such a young lady!

Welcome to At the Farm!
The soil around the Waconia, Minnesota area is rich and black and perfect for my life-long dream to grow and share these fabulous vegetables with people! I'm an organic gardener. The vegetables grown on this farm are chemical-free! (The produce that comes from my farmer friends may not be but all are clearly labeled.) The plants are started in the hot house from seed. The varieties are chosen for best performance and flavor for this area (Zone 4).

The produce is picked fresh daily, washed and brought into the lower level of our renovated and restored barn! The barn is a 1890s German bank barn with stone walls. This stays very cool inside throughout the summer, even on the hottest days and helps the produce retain its freshness!

The nostalgia of a farm visit is a wonderful experience. The barn is handicap accessible and the parking area is large enough to accommodate coach bus tours! I am eagerly waiting to have you as a guest At the Farm!

This video At the Farm with Donna was made by Rod Rassman after an interview in 2009. He was interested about how At the Farm is such a lovely welcome for visitors to the Waconia area.

I am also a very reputable antiques dealer and have been in this business for over 40 years. My husband and I collected Carver County treasures for decades and the inventory reflects the great care and pride the people in this Minnesota community have taken in their possessions. Carver County, Minnesota is located just southwest of the Minneapolis and St. Paul metropolitan area but is still mostly rural. Because of this, Carver County still reflects the strong German heritage of the settlers that homesteaded the area. I specialize in Carver County treasures.
