The book is a great reference for growing in this area and can help you become a successful gardener or an even more successful gardener. Last winter I wrote about canning tips and add a
section to the gardening book I published last year. Last year's version sold out by summer so I reprinted this updated edition this spring. Call or stop by to purchase my book! Its a great
resource for any experienced gardener or want-to-be gardener. It will make a great Father's Day gift! See you soon, Donna

Gardening Tips For Tomato Blossom End Rot - this is when the bottom of your tomato is black, sprinkle 1/2 cup of powdered milk around the plant. You are lacking calcium in your soil or you cut the roots
with the hoe. Be careful not to get so close to the plant when hoeing. Pull weeds by hand.Mulching Tomatoes -
I will have meadow hay for mulch in July. This helps keep the moisture in and weeds down. Do not use straw! You can get an oats field if seeds are still in the straw. See my gorgeous tomato plants surrounded by mulch in this photo from a year or two ago. Yours can look this good too!
