The days are something,
So hot and bright.

Keep thinking of winter,
Heavens, that's not in my sight!

Hello,

The gardening season is a real challenge this year. Don't give up! I know it's hard to weed as it is so wet. Put a board down between the rows to walk on if you sink too bad. Walk on that to pull weeds.

Things are still behind in production. It teaches us that nothing is perfect! Peas-they were not excellent this season, too hot!

My pickling cukes will not be ready until the last week in July and then not alot. Dill is still slow.

Stop pulling your rhubarb. Pulling your rhubarb this late will ruin your plants for next year's production. In the fall side dress your rhubarb plants with compost or rotted manure. They are heavy feeders.
