Sent April 21, 2010The crab trees are blooming Vegetable crops are up
The robins are singing So smile - to fill your cup! Hello, I can't help being excited about the spring! Isn't it great! Some vegetable crops are up, its a spring to
remember. Do not be in a hurry to plant warm crops or flowering bedding plants. The ground does not stay warm and things can rot ... wait for May. Things grow better in warm soil.
The rhubarb is really wonderful. I loves the rain. Soon I'll be picking and will have it for sale. On Monday, April 19 I got my baby chickens. The old hens are getting tired and the egg
production is way down. Cabbage, brocolli, cauliflower plants are ready. I have a good selection of seed potatoes and bulk vegetable garden seeds, as well as onion sets. Onion plants will be
coming about April 28th. Also, the asparagus roots, rhubarb roots, raspberry roots and strawberry plants are here. |
