More September Garden Tips! To Harvest Hydrangea Blossoms When green in color, cut flower with a long stem. Put in a bucket of water for 24 hours. Hang upside down in garage to dry.

Keep in mind this fall when dividing your perennials . . .
Plant Sale and Swap - Coming on May 15, 2010 At the Farm - Hours: 9 am to 1 pm (or until you sell out) Have extra perennials this fall? Put some in an area where you can re-dig them in the spring. Then next spring you can dig them
up and pot them up in containers 6 inches or smaller and bring them to sell or swap! Need not be large clumps. Free setup area for items! Bring your own table and chair. You can bring old garden tools, trellis, decorated pots, gardening books or anything related to gardening to sell or swap.
No seeds, bedding plants, annual flowers or vegetable plants please. I will have these for sale. |
