News Flash! - You are Invited to Scarecrow Saturday At the Farm on October 10, 2009 |
10:00 am - Learn how to Build and Dress a Scarecrow (See photo at right for a creative example) 11:00 am to 2:00 pm - Sample the Harvest 12:00 Noon - Sesquicentennial Sign Dedication
Representative Paul Kohls
will be on hand for the dedication of my Minnesota Sesquicentennial sign. Following the sign dedication Representative Kohls will speak about his bid for governor of Minnesota
. He will take questions from guests. Why am I having a sign dedication? I hosted a Country Festival
at my farm in July 2008 as part of the Minnesota Sesquicentennial celebration. The road signs that were on interstates around the state became available after they were taken down. Rep. Kohls was instrumental in helping me track down the signs after the Sesquicentennial office closed. This sign is a great memento of the festival I hosted and I want to share it.
Activities At the Farm
will be cancelled in event of rain. Snow, still a go! Dress for the weather! All activities will be outside! |
Enjoy the Season At the Farm!
