The plants have a chance to put their roots down and not stress. The warm weather crops like tomatoes and peppers will stall growth for a bit but will be just fine.     Look! My potatoes and peas are blooming! So I'll be picking peas soon! It's Here! June Garden Progress Questionnaire Please email me with your garden news. imthefarmer@earthlink.net   I tell you how mine is growing each week, now I need to hear from you! Was I a good teacher? Are your seeds coming up? What are you harvesting? How do you prepare your harvest? What's blooming? What are are you having trouble with? Do you have bugs? What kind? On what plants? Remember its been cool, so some things are not growing well. They will take off when the weather warms. That's why you should not mulch until the ground stays warm. The mulch will keep the ground temperature consistent. If you put the mulch on too soon, when the ground is cold, it holds the cold in. Looking forward to hearing about your gardens!
