Recipe for Fall Squash

Fall squash is ready! What a healthy, sweet treat!

Cut squash in half the long way. Scoop out seeds. Bake in pan, flat side down first, with a little water to keep from sticking. Cover wth foil and bake 25-30 minutes at 375-400 degrees.

Remove from oven and turn squash over. Put one tablespoon of brown sugar and one tablespoon of butter in each half. Cover wth foil and bake another 20-30 minutes at 375-400 degrees.

Baking time will vary depending on the size of the squash. Remove when fork goes in easily, scoop out of shell and add more butter to taste.

Enjoy!
